라인야후는 이 보고서에서 총무성이 지시한 네이버와 자본관계 재검토 문제와 관련해 "모회사인 A홀딩스의 자본관계 재검토를 이(A홀딩스) 회사 주주인 소프트뱅크와 네이버에 의뢰했다"면서 "다만 현재 양사 간에 단기적인 자본 이동에는 곤란이 따른다는 인식에 도달했다는 공유를 받고 있다"고 말했다.

그러면서 "양사 모두 협력적으로 대응하고 있으므로 라인야후로서도 논의가 진전되도록 계속 노력해 나갈 방침"이라고 덧붙였다.

라인야후 주식은 네이버와 소프트뱅크가 설립한 합작법인 A홀딩스가 약 65% 보유하고 있다.소프트뱅크와 네이버의 A홀딩스 지분율은 각각 50%다.

앞서 소프트뱅크는 네이버와 라인야후 지분을 인수하기 위한 협상을 진행하고 있다고 밝혔다.

라인야후는 이날 보고서에서 자본 관계 재검토 완료 목표 시한을 명시하지 않았다.
