민‧관합동 화재위험요인 점검 등 선제조치로 사고예방 노력광주광역시는 화성 배터리공장 화재사고 관련 광주지역 배터리 생산업체 등 유사시설에 대한 안전관리 실태를 민·관 합동으로 긴급 점검한다.

25일 광주시에 따르면,이번 점검은 지난 24일 경기도 화성시 일차전지 공장에서 화재가 발생함에 따라 안전사고 재발 방지를 위해 세방전지 등 28개 지역업체에 대해 긴급 안전점검을 실시한다고 밝혔다.

광주시는 배터리 제조공정 취급상 안전사항 준수 여부,배터리 생산시설에 대한 화재위험 요인 점검 등 선제적 조치를 통해 안전사고 예방에 중점을 둘 예정이다.내실 있는 점검이 될 수 있도록 광주시,롯데마트 월드컵점 식당자치구,소방안전본부,롯데마트 월드컵점 식당영산강환경유역청,분야별 민간전문가 등이 합동으로 점검할 계획이다.

또한 광주시와 광주소방안전본부는 △경보설비‧소화설비 등 소방시설 유지·관리 △초기대응체계 운영 실태 △공장 내부 비상탈출로 확보 여부 등을 점검하며 화재위험요인을 사전에 제거한다.특히 외국인 근로자 화재시 대피요령,화재안전수칙 등 안전교육을 실시할 계획이다.

고광완 광주시 행정부시장은 “긴급 안전점검을 통해 화재사고가 반복되지 않도록 선제적 점검으로 안전사고 예방에 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.
