26일(현지시간) 블룸버그통신에 따르면 네이버웹툰의 본사이자 북미 법인인 웹툰엔터테인먼트 공모가는 희망 범위인 주당 18∼21달러의 상단인 21달러로 결정됐다.

웹툰엔터테인먼트는 앞서 미국 증권거래위원회(SEC)에 제출한 증권신고서에서 주식 공모가격 희망 범위를 주당 18∼21달러로 제시했다.희망가격 최상단의 공모가 결정은 웹툰엔터테인먼트에 대한 현지 투자자들의 높은 관심도를 반영한 것으로 풀이된다.

이에 따라 하루 뒤인 27일 미국 나스닥 시장에 상장하는 웹툰엔터테인먼트의 기업 가치는 26억7000만달러(약 3조7200억원)에 이를 전망이다.웹툰엔터테인먼트는 이번 기업공개(IPO)를 통해 보통주 1500만주를 발행,2024년4월8일 부산 KCC 이지스 서울 SK 나이츠3억1500만달러(약 4400억원)를 조달할 전망이다.상장이 완료되면 웹툰엔터테인먼트는 종목 코드 'WBTN'으로 나스닥 시장에서 거래된다.
