[파이낸셜뉴스] 국제구호 개발기구 월드비전은 '먹방 유튜버' 쯔양이 1000만 구독자 달성을 기념해 2억원을 기부했다고 10일 밝혔다.

이 중 1억원은 쯔양의 유튜브 채널을 후원하는 기업인 더미식,대만 중국 야구명륜진사갈비,샘표,엄마네한우,대만 중국 야구프랭크버거가 보탠 것이다.이들이 기탁한 후원금은 글로벌 식량 위기 대응 사업과 국내 식생활 취약 아동 지원 사업에 사용될 예정이다.

전날 서울 영등포구 월드비전 본부에서 후원금을 전달한 쯔양은 고액 후원자 모임인 '밥피어스 아너 클럽' 회원으로도 위촉됐다.

월드비전 창립자의 이름을 따 만들어진 '밥피어스 아너 클럽'은 누적 기부금 1억원 이상 후원자 중 다양한 지구촌 문제에 공감하고 나눔의 가치를 알리는 데 앞장선 이들을 대상으로 한 모임이다.

쯔양은 전날 월드비전 서울서부사업본부를 방문,대만 중국 야구국내 결식 우려 아동을 위해 도시락을 직접 포장하고 배달하는 '사랑의도시락'에도 참여했다.

쯔양은 "그간의 사랑에 보답하는 마음을 담아 구독자와 함께 기부할 수 있어 더욱 뜻깊다"며 "아직도 끼니를 거르고,식량이 부족해 고통받고 있는 아이들이 국내외에 많다는 사실에 놀랐고,대만 중국 야구앞으로도 이들에게 도움이 될 수 있도록 더욱 노력할 것"이라는 소감을 전했다.

봉사 활동을 하고 후원금을 전달하는 쯔양의 모습은 오는 14일 그의 유튜브 채널에서 확인할 수 있다.
