경기 수원에 이어 서울 한복판에도 헬륨 가스를 이용한 기구가 만들어지며 관심이 쏠립니다.
황재헌 기자가 보도합니다.

화려한 조명을 자랑하는 여의도 빌딩숲 사이로 하얀 대형 풍선이 떠 있습니다.

헬륨의 부력을 이용해 뜨는 30인승 가스기구 '서울달'입니다.

높이 34미터,광주 출장 마사지지름 22.5미터의 풍선인데 건물 45층 높이인 130m까지 수직으로 올라갑니다.

오르내리는 데 15분 걸리고 최고 높이에서는 7분 동안 경치를 즐길 수 있습니다.

이번 달 6일 개장식 이후 한 달간 시범 운영을 거쳐 8월 23일부터 유료로 운영됩니다.

- "전망대에서 볼 때는 창으로 가려가지고 반사가 되고 있는데 이것은 본인의 육안으로 볼 수 있는 상황이다 보니까 사진도 잘 나오고요."

헬륨가스 기구는 서울에서는 '서울달'이 최초인데 수원에서는 이미 2016년부터 있었습니다.

수원 화성의 경치를 내려다볼 수 있는 '플라잉 수원'으로 연간 이용객이 5년 전 3만 명대에서 지금은 5만 명대로 늘었습니다.

두 풍선 모두 계류식기구로 와이어에 달려 있어 수직으로만 이동하는 특징이 있습니다.

때문에 자유 비행하는 열기구보다 비교적 안전하며 헬륨가스는 불도 붙지 않기 때문에 수원에서도 사고는 한 건도 일어나지 않았습니다.
