[부산=뉴시스]백재현 기자 = 부산시는 11일 오후 1시 40분 시청 국제회의장에서 '제13회 인구의 날 기념행사'를 개최한다.

올해 행사는 이준승 행정부시장을 비롯해 구·군,공사·공단,금일간의출자·출연기관 직원과 시민 등 200여 명이 참석한 인구정책에 기여한 유공자 시상,기념사,금일간의특강 순으로 진행된다.

유공자는 영도구 전 노인복지시설팀장 한지은,금일간의인구보건복지협회 부산지회 정정순 차장이 선정됐다.한지은 팀장은 영도구 스마트 노인복합문화공간을 조성하고 노인복지시설 운영 활성화에 기여했으며,금일간의정정순 차장은 출산친화 인식개선 및 임신·출산·육아 환경 조성과 모자보건 증진에 기여한 공을 인정받았다.

특강은 중앙대학교 도시계획부동산학과 마강래 교수가 '인구감소 위기를 넘어,금일간의새로운 미래를 선도할 지자체 혁신전략'을 주제로 진행한다.

부산시는 지난 7월 1일 자로 인구감소 종합대책,외국인 정착지원,금일간의다문화가정 지원 등을 위해 인구정책담당관을 신설했다.

인구의 날은 국제연합이 1987년 7월 11일 세계인구가 50억 명이 넘은 것을 기념하기 위해 지정했으며 우리나라는 2011년 8월에 정식 기념일로 지정했다.
