워런 버핏의 버크셔 해서웨이가 중국 최대 전기차 업체인 비야디(BYD)의 지분을 계속 줄이고 있습니다
로이터통신은 현지시간 25일 홍콩 증권거래소에 제출된 자료를 인용해,lg 대 ssg버크셔가 19일 BYD가 발행한 H주 지분을 5.99%로 줄였다고 보도했습니다.버크셔는 지난 17일에도 지분을 7.2%에서 6.9%로 줄이면서 지분 감소 사실을 공시했었습니다.
버크셔는 지난 2008년 비야디 주식 2억 2천500만 주를 매수했습니다.당시 평균 매입가는 주당 8 홍콩 달러에 불과했는데,lg 대 ssg비야디의 몸값은 이때부터 사상 최고치를 찍은 재작년까지 무려 600% 급등했고,lg 대 ssg버크셔는 보유하고 있던 지분의 절반을 매각하면서 큰돈을 벌었습니다.
이후에도 버크셔는 구체적인 이유를 밝히지 않은 채 비야디 지분을 계속해서 정리하고 있습니다.
전기차 시장이 차갑게 식은 데다,미국을 비롯해 유럽연합이 중국산 전기차에 관세 폭탄을 던지면서 거리두기에 나서는 모습입니다.
