11일 대전시에 따르면 서구 도마동과 중구 유천동을 잇는 유등교(길이 168m,타임슬롯 교환너비 30m)는 하류측 구교가 40cm,타임슬롯 교환신교 20츠의 정도의 상판 부등 침하가 생겼다.

시는 육안 점검 결과 교각 4번과 5번 2곳에서 하부 세굴로 인해 침하가 발생한 것으로 추정하고 있다.

시는 신교의 경우 하천 수위가 떨어지면 시와 전문기관이 참여하는 정밀안전진단을 벌인다는 계획이다.안전진단은 한달 정도 소요될 전망이다.

안전진단결과에 따라 교량 보수 보강을 추진할 계획이며 보수 보강에는 1년 정도 소요된다.

1970년 12월 준공된 구교는 도시철도 2호선 건설과 병행 추진을 검토 중인 것으로 알려졌다.구교를 지나는 도시철도 2호선 건설과 맞물려 구교를 철거한 후 재가설하는 방안이 유력하게 검토되고 있다.

구교를 재가설하는데 3년 정도가 소요될 전망이어서 오는 9월 도시철도 2호선 착공과 동시에 철거가 진행되면 2027년 9월 경이나 준공될 것으로 보인다.

시 관계자는 “교각의 침하량을 주기적으로 계측해 진행여부를 모니터링할 계획”이라며 “긴급 전면 통제와 함께 시내버스에 대해서는 우회 운영토록 조치했다”고 밝혔다.
