마쓰모토 다케아키 일본 총무상은 라인야후가 지난 1일 제출한 보고서에 대해 개선을 위한 구체적인 대응 내용이 제시돼 있어 긍정적으로 평가할 수 있다고 밝혔습니다.

마쓰모토 총무상은 오늘 기자회견에서 라인 야후 보고서 관련 내용을 자세히 조사했다며 이같이 말했습니다.

구체적으로 네이버에 대한 업무 위탁 축소와 종료를 위한 구체적인 계획이 포함돼 있다며 보안 거버넌스 확보를 위한 대응이 진전됐다고 평가했습니다.

또 라인야후 측이 네이버와의 자본관계 재검토가 단기적으로는 곤란하다고 보고한 데 대해서는 이용자 보호를 위한 보안 체계 재검토를 부탁한 것이라며 자본관계 재검토 자체가 행정지도의 목적이 아니라고 설명했습니다.

교도통신은 라인야후 문제가 한일 간 외교 문제로 비화할 우려가 있는 가운데 총무상의 발언으로 사태를 진정시킬 수 있을지 주목된다고 전했습니다.
