[헤럴드경제=강승연 기자] 산업은행(회장 강석훈)은 초기 스타트업을 위한‘KDB NextONE’9기(서울)에 참여하는 스타트업 15개사에 대한 하반기 보육프로그램을 시작했다고 16일 밝혔다.

2020년 7월 시작된 KDB NextONE은 산업은행이 초기 스타트업을 직접 보육하는 액셀러레이팅 프로그램으로,산업은행은 올 6월 KDB NextONE 부산 개소를 통해 수도권 중심이던 국내 벤처생태계의 지역 확장을 추진하고 있다.

이번 KDB NextONE 9기(서울)에는 총 226개 기업이 지원해 약 15대 1의 경쟁률을 기록했다.항공·우주,건강·진단,경상대 로또지식서비스,경상대 로또사이버보안,첨단제조 등 다양한 분야의 국가전략기술 관련 우수 스타트업 15개사가 최종 선발됐으며,창업 3년 이내 초기 기업이 대부분이다.

산업은행은 선발기업에 마포 프론트원 사무공간,전담 멘토링,IR컨설팅,데모데이 뿐만 아니라 투자유치 및 대·중견기업과의 사업협력 기회 등 실질적 성장을 위한 지원을 제공한다.

특히 KDB 실리콘밸리법인 등 산업은행 해외 벤처 네트워크 연계 및 현지 박람회 참여 지원 등을 통해 보육기업의 글로벌화를 촉진하고 ▷벤처투자 플랫폼 KDB NextRound(투자유치 지원) ▷국내 최대 스타트업 페어 NextRise(사업협력 지원) ▷산업은행 M&A 컨설팅실(성장전략 컨설팅) 등과 연계해 보육기업성장 지원을 강화할 예정이다.

이준성 산업은행 부행장은 “KDB NextONE 9기에 선발된 스타트업들의 원활한 투자유치 및 글로벌 진출 등을 위해 산업은행의 축적된 노하우와 역량을 활용한 다양한 프로그램을 운영할 계획”이라고 밝혔다.
