[헤럴드경제=심아란 기자] 하도급 업체에 공사 대금을 지급하지 않는 등 위법행위가 적발된 대상건설이 공정거래위원회의 제재를 받는다.

7일 공정위는 대상건설의 하도급법 위반 행위에 대해 시정명령을 부과한다고 밝혔다.

공정위에 따르면 대상건설은 2021년 6월부터 11월까지 수급 사업자에게 '목포시 상동 주상복합 신축공사 중 인테리어 공사'를 위탁하면서 공사가 완료된 후에도 하도급 공사대금 1억3920만원과 지연이자를 지급하지 않았다.

계약체결일부터 30일 이내에 하도급법상 의무인 공사대금 지급보증도 하지 않았다.

대상건설은 아울러 하도급 공사대금 중 2억원을 어음으로 지급하면서 만기일까지의 초과 기간에 대한 어음할인료 246만4000원도 지급하지 않았다.

공정위는 "건설시장에서 불공정하도급 거래행위에 대한 엄정한 법 집행을 통해 수급사업자의 불이익을 방지하고 공정한 하도급 거래 질서가 정착되도록 노력하겠다"고 밝혔다.
