특수형태근로종사자·플랫폼 노동자에 대한 최저임금 논의가 올해는 무산됐습니다.

최저임금위원회는 지난 13일 제4차 전원회의를 통해 "'도급제 등의 경우 최저임금액 결정의 특례'에 대해 심도 있게 논의한 결과 별도로 정하지 않기로 했다"고 밝혔습니다.

최저임금법 5조 3항에는 임금이 도급제 형태로 정해져 시간급 최저임금을 정하는 게 적당하지 않다면 최저임금액을 따로 정할 수 있다고 규정돼 있습니다.

노동계는 해당 조항을 토대로 특고·플랫폼 노동자 등 도급제 노동자까지 최저임금 적용을 확대해야 한다고 주장해왔습니다.
