금융감독원 [사진 연합뉴스][이코노미스트 송현주 기자] 증권사 직원이 주식 등을 운용해 고수익을 보장하겠다면서 고객 등으로부터 사적으로 자금을 편취하는 사례가 잇따라 금융감독원이 소비자경보 주의를 발령했다.

해당 증권사 직원들은 공통적으로 피해자의 신뢰를 바탕으로 고수익 상품에 투자해 주겠다며 현혹해 직원 본인의 은행 계좌로 자금을 입금하도록 유도했다.

금감원은 증권사 직원이 직무상 취득할 수 있는 정보는 제한적이고,설령 정보를 취득하였다고 하더라도 해당 정보를 이용한 사익 추구 행위는 자본시장법 등에 따라 엄격히 금지된다고 설명했다.

따라서 증권사 직원이 친분을 바탕으로‘저가 매수 기회‘나만 아는 정보’등으로 치장해 투자를 유도하더라도,항상 투자 전 충분히 확인하고 신중하게 판단해야 한다고 조언했다.

또한 증권사의 모든 정상 거래는 금융소비자 본인 명의의 계좌를 통해서만 이루어지며,야구 용어 - 노히트 노런증권사는 어떠한 상황에서도 투자금을 직원의 개인 계좌로 수납하지 않는다고 강조했다.
