[대구=뉴시스] 정창오 기자 = 대구시는 행정안전부가 주관한‘2024년 고향올래(GO鄕 ALL來)사업’공모에 최종 선정됐다고 9일 밝혔다.

‘고향올래 사업’은 지방소멸 위기,네이버 룰렛돌리기인구 이동성 증가 등 급변하는 정책환경을 반영해 정주인구가 아닌 체류형 생활인구(1일동안 머무른 시간의 총합이 3시간 이상인 경우가 월 1회 이상인 사람) 확보를 통해 지역에 활력을 불어넣고자 행안부에서 2023년부터 추진하는 사업이다.

지난 4월에 공모해 총 48개 지방자치단체가 신청했으며 6월에 실무 서면심사,네이버 룰렛돌리기현장심사를 거쳐 최종 12개 지자체(광역 2개,네이버 룰렛돌리기기초 10개)를 선정했으며 광역지자체로는 대구시와 충청남도 두 군데가 선정됐다.

대구시는 지난 2년 간 대구살이를 희망하는 청년을 모집해 취업,창업,네이버 룰렛돌리기프리랜서 교육을 지원하고 정착하면 창업 및 주거 공간 등도 제공하는 사업의 성공경험과 인프라를 바탕으로 국비사업으로 확대운영하는 방안을 제안해 공모에 선정됐다.

대구시는 향후 2년 간 16억원을 투자해 야간경관이 우수한 구암서원과 일원의 빈집과 빈점포를 리모델링해 한 달 살이 생활공간(6개소)과 활동공간(3개소),네이버 룰렛돌리기로컬벤처 테스트베드(5개소) 등을 조성한다.

또한 대구창조경제혁신센터,네이버 룰렛돌리기대구지방고용노동청,한국산업단지공단 등과 협업해 창·취업·프리랜서 등 희망 경로별 정착프로그램을 지원해 연간 300여명의 생활인구를 유입할 계획이다.

김선조 대구시 행정부시장은 “대구시 청년 귀환 채널구축 사업이‘고향올래’국비사업으로 확대돼 앞으로 더욱 탄력을 받아 더 좋은 성과가 기대된다”며 “많은 타지역 청년들이 대구살이 경험하면서 대구에 계속 살고 싶은 환경을 조성하는 데 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
