(인천=연합뉴스) 김상연 기자 = 인천에서 초등학생 납치 의심 신고가 접수돼 경찰이 수사 중인 사실이 뒤늦게 알려졌다.

인천 서부경찰서에 따르면 지난달 29일 서구 모 초등학교 인근에서 "중년 남성이 아이를 데리고 가려 했다"는 학부모 신고가 112에 접수됐다.

이 학부모는 "중년 남성 A씨가 초등학교 5학년생 B(11)군에게 어깨동무하며 어디론가 이동하려고 했다"고 주장한 것으로 알려졌다.

A씨는 당시 B군이 거부감을 나타내자 그대로 현장을 벗어난 것으로 전해졌다.

경찰은 목격자 진술과 사건 현장 폐쇄회로(CC)TV 영상 등을 토대로 A씨의 행방을 쫓고 있다.

경찰 관계자는 "A씨가 B군에게 '같이 가자'고 말했다는 학부모 측 주장이 있어 사실관계를 조사할 방침"이라며 "용의자 신원을 확인하고 있다"고 말했다.
