(서울=뉴스1) 권진영 기자 = 일본 도쿄전력이 후쿠시마 제1 원자력발전소에 저장 중인 방사능 오염수 해양 방류를 28일 재개했다.2024년(회계연도) 기준 3차이자 통산 7차 방류다.

NHK에 따르면 해양 방류는 이날 오전 11시 46분쯤 시작됐다.

현재까지 눈에 띄는 문제점은 없으며 원전 주변에서 채취된 해수의 트리튬(삼중수소) 농도도 도쿄전력이 자주적으로 방류 중단을 판단하는 기준을 크게 밑돌고 있다.

도쿄전력은 내달 16일까지 방사능 오염수 약 7800톤을,야구 채널 번호회계연도 2024년 중으로는 약 5만4600톤을 바다로 흘려보낼 계획이다.

후쿠시마 제1 원전은 트리튬 등 방사성 물질을 포함한 오염수 탱크 약 1000기를 보관하고 있는데,야구 채널 번호빈 탱크는 내달 이후 준비 작업을 거쳐 이르면 2025년 1월쯤부터 해체에 착수한다.
