원주에서 “여사가 명품 가방 받은 것 잘못” 언급에 얼굴 등 때려
정치관련 대화 중 견해 차이가 있다는 이유로 화가 나 운행중인 택시 운전기사의 얼굴 등을 때려 폭행한 60대 승객이 벌금형을 선고받았다.
춘천지법 원주지원 형사3단독(황해철 판사)은 특정범죄 가중처벌 등에 관한 법률 위반(운전자 폭행 등) 혐의로 불구속기소된 A씨(65)에게 벌금 500만원을 선고했다고 지난 30일 밝혔다.
A씨는 올해 1월23일 오후 10시45분 원주에서 B(66)씨가 운행하는 택시에 탑승한 이후 정치관련 대화를 나누다가 “김건희 여사가 명품 가방을 받은 것이 잘못된 것 같다”는 B씨의 말에 화가 나 주먹으로 B씨의 얼굴을 여러차례 때린 혐의로 기소됐다.이에 대해 A씨는 “정신을 차리라”는 취지로 B씨의 머리를 몇 대 툭툭 친 것일 뿐 폭행이 아니라고 주장했다.
재판부는 “피고인이 주먹으로 운행 중인 택시 기사 B씨의 얼굴,벳엔드주소머리 등을 여러번 때려 폭행한 사실이 명백히 인정된다”"고 판시했다.
