17일(현지시간) 월가에 따르면 영국의 헤지펀드인 클린에너지트랜지션은 테슬라의 목표주가로 15달러를 제시했다.이는 17일 테슬라 종가(187.44달러) 대비 92% 급락한 수치다.

이 회사의 최고경영자(CEO)인 페르 레칸더는 “테슬라는 역사에 남을 거대한 버블”이라고 평가했다.

이어서 “전기차 판매를 중심으로 한 테슬라의 사업 모델은 전통적 사업에 가깝다”며 “테슬라의 순이익은 감소하기 시작했다”고 지적했다.

월가의 테슬라 주당순이익(EPS) 컨센서스는 연초 5달러에서 최근 2.65달러로 하락했다.클린에너지트랜지션은 테슬라의 EPS가 1.4달러에 불과할 것으로 보고 있다.

레칸더 CEO는 “1분기 테슬라의 인도량은 실망스러웠고,2018 러시아 월드컵 베트남판매량 회복을 위해 가격 인하와 대규모 인센티브 지급에 나서고 있다”며 “2~3분기 적자로 연결될 수 있다”고 말했다.

그는 테슬라의 실적 악화로 현재 기업가치(밸류에이션)가 유지될 수 없을 것이라고 판단했다.지난 2001년 분식회계 사건으로 파산한 엔론과 유사한 길을 걸을 것이란 전망도 내놓았다.

한편 테슬라 주가는 올해 들어 24% 하락했다.
