폭우로 인해 금호강 일대 물이 차올라 대구 동구 금강동 저지대 주민 27명이 고립됐다가 마을 인근 임시대피소로 대피했다.

10일 대구 동구청과 동부소방서에 따르면 이날 오전 10시 30분부터 금호강 수위가 상승하면서 동구 금강동 안심3동 저지대 지역 주민들이 침수 피해를 입었다.

동구청과 소방 당국은 이 마을에서 1㎞가량 떨어진 송정초등학교를 임시대피소로 지정해 주민 27명을 대피시켰다.

동부소방서에 따르면 이 마을에는 현재 6가구 주민들이 여전히 남아 있으며 고립인원은 20명으로 추정된다.

소방 당국은 헬기 2대를 투입해 마을 주민들을 구조하려고 했으나 헬기 착륙 장소가 마땅치 않아 구조대원들을 현장에 투입해 구조 활동 중이다.

동구청 관계자는 "9일 오전부터 금강잠수교와 오목잠수교 두 곳을 통제 했었는데 강의 수위가 급격히 올라가서 마을 주민들을 대피 시켰다"며 "마을 북쪽이 금호강이고 남쪽에는 오목천이 있어서 주민들이 피하지 못하고 고립된 상황이었다"고 설명했다.

동구청은 이날 오전 11시 42분쯤 '동촌유원지와 금강잠수교 주변 주민들은 높은 지대로 대피해달라'는 내용의 재난문자를 발송했다.
