제주 남서부 해역에서 연구원 시험조사선을 이용해 월 1회 정점별 수온 및 염분을 관측하는 광역 예찰조사도 시행할 계획이다.

또 고수온·저염분수가 제주 연안 30마일(약 48㎞) 이내 유입 시 2주 간격으로,블랙나인 카지노10마일(약 16㎞) 이내 유입 시 매주 조사 등 예찰 조사를 강화하며 유관기관과 어업인들에게 관측정보를 제공하기로 했다.
