(서울=연합뉴스) 김현수 기자 = 의료 인공지능(AI) 기업 라이프시맨틱스가 식품의약품안전처로부터 피부암 영상 검출·진단 보조 소프트웨어 '캐노피엠디 SCAI'의 품목 허가를 받았다고 25일 밝혔다.

캐노피엠디 SCAI는 스마트폰 카메라로 피부암 의심 환자의 병변을 촬영해 피부암 여부를 감별하는 의료 AI 설루션이다.

해당 설루션은 합성곱 신경망(CNN·심층인공신경망의 하나로 이미지 인식·분류와 비디오 분석 등 시각적 데이터 처리에 사용되는 딥러닝 모델) 계열의 이미지 처리 기술을 활용해 악성·양성 종양을 세부적으로 분류한다.

품목 허가에 따라 라이프시맨틱스는 상급종합병원 등 6개 의료기관에서 해당 설루션의 안전성,로또 895유효성,로또 895사용성을 검증할 계획이다.

한편,로또 895라이프시맨틱스는 식약처로부터 모발 밀도 분석 AI 설루션 '캐노피엠디 HDAI'의 품목 허가도 받았다고 전했다.

해당 설루션은 스마트폰으로 두피 이미지를 촬영하면 AI가 모낭 수와 이식할 수 있는 모발 수 등을 측정해 탈모 진단을 돕는다.
