12일 정부세종청사에서 열린 최저임금위원회 제11차 전원회의에서 공익위원들은‘심의 촉진구간’으로 1만∼1만290원을 제시했다.올해 최저임금 9860원보다 1.4~4.4% 인상된 금액이다.

최저임금 심의는 노사 양측이 최초 제시안을 낸 뒤 양 측이 서로 격차를 좁히는 방식으로 진행된다.심의 촉진 구간이란 노사 양 측 협상이 더 이상 어렵다고 판단될 때 공익위원들이 인상안의 상·하한선을 제시하는 것이다.

노사 양측은 이 구간 내에서 최종안을 제시하게 되며,바르셀로나 프랑크푸르트이 최종안을 바탕으로 위원회가 합의 또는 표결을 거쳐 내년 최저임금을 결정하게 된다.
