'2024 개인정보 미래포럼' 개최…학계·법조계·시민사회 등 42명 참석정부가 인공지능(AI) 시대에 필요한 개인정보 투명성 확보 논의를 위한 자리를 마련했다.

개인정보보호위원회는 제3차 '2024 개인정보 미래포럼'을 개최했다고 19일 밝혔다.이 행사는 개인정보 분야 미래 의제를 선제적으로 논의하고,산업계과 시민사회 등 현장 의견을 수렴하는 정책 토론의 장이다.학계를 비롯한 법조계,로얄 앤트워프사업계,로얄 앤트워프시민사회 등 관계자 42명이 참석했다.

이번 회의는 AI와 개인정보를 의제로 진행되는 세 번째 포럼이다.서울대 박상철 법학전문대학원 교수와 한양대 박혜진 법학전문대학원 교수는 각각 'AI 프라이버시 위험도 평가 방안'과 '투명성 확보 방안'을 주제로 발제했다.

개인정보위는 미래포럼에서 제안된 의견을 반영해 ▲공개된 개인정보 처리 안내서 ▲AI 프라이버시 위험도 평가 모델 ▲개인정보 처리 투명성 확보 안내서 등을 마련한다.

개인정보위 관계자는 "이번 포럼을 통한 새로운 정책 마련으로 AI 등 신기술·신산업 성장을 지속적으로 지원할 계획"이라고 말했다.
