애플(AAPL)주가가 12일(현지시간) 이틀 연속 급등세를 이어가면서 마이크로소프트(MSFT)에 밀렸던 시가총액 1위 자리를 다시 회복했다.

동부표준시로 오전 10시 경 애플은 전날보다 5% 가까이 급등하면서 한 때 215달러를 넘었다.마이크로소프트(MSFT)는 이 시간에 0.9% 상승에 그쳤다.

그러나 월가 일부 분석가들이 11일에 애플의 AI 적용이 아이폰 15 프로 이상의 모델에만 적용되기 때문에 향후 고급 모델과 새 모델에 대한 엄청난 수요 확대로 이어진다는 분석을 내놓으면서 애플은 전 날 7.3% 급등했고 한 때 엔비디아에 밀린 시가총액 2위 자리를 회복했다.

웨드부시 증권의 분석가들은 애플 인텔리전스에 대한 시장의 반응이 느렸던 것은 AI 혁명이 애플의 기기를 통해 소비자들 통해 이뤄진다는 점을 뒤늦게 이해한데 따른 것이라고 지적했다.
