[세종=뉴시스]손차민 기자 = 정부가 차세대 반도체 산업을 이끌어갈 반도체 첨단패키징 초격차 기술확보를 위해 2744억원 규모로 연구개발(R&D) 사업을 추진한다.

산업통상자원부는 26일 국가연구개발사업평가 총괄위원회에서 이런 내용의 '반도체 첨단패키징 선도기술개발사업'이 예비타당성 조사를 통과했다고 밝혔다.

첨단패키징은 디지털 전환에 따른 저전력·고성능을 구현하기 위한 핵심기술로 꼽힌다.반도체 공정 미세화 기술의 한계를 극복하고 개발 소자들의 단일 패키지화 필요성이 커지면서다.

산업부 관계자는 "첨단패키징 초격차 기술확보 및 기업의 글로벌 시장진출을 촉진하고,2023로또 판매점 당첨자 발표국내 반도체 공급망 안정성을 강화하는데 기여할 것으로 기대된다"고 말했다.
