[앵커]

전기차 배터리에 대한 불안감이 확산되자 자동차 업체들은 속속 제조사를 공개하고 있는데요.

여기에다 벤츠를 비롯해 국내 업체들은 무상 점검까지 시작했습니다.

이도윤 기자가 현장을 다녀왔습니다.

[리포트]

서울의 한 벤츠 자동차 서비스 센텁니다.

[벤츠 서비스센터 직원/음성변조 : "저희가 예약으로 (서비스 점검을) 다 잡고 있긴 해서요.(전기차는) 하루에 두 대에서 네 대 가량…."]

예약제로 진행돼 크게 붐비지는 않습니다.

[벤츠 서비스센터 직원/음성변조 : "(문의는 좀 많이 왔어요?) 지금 계속 들어오고 있어요.(오늘 바로 받고 이런 게 아니네요?) 지금 바로 진행은 좀 안 되는 상황이에요."]

화재가 난 중국 파라시스 배터리를 장착한 벤츠 모델은 국내에 알려진 것만 5천5백여 대,바카라 작업차주들의 불안은 여전합니다.

[벤츠 전기차 차주 : "벤츠 전기차 하면은 이제 완전히 죄인 같은 느낌이 든다는 거예요.이런 형식적인 게 우리한테 뭐가 와닿을까 그런 생각도 많이 들고요."]

현대·기아차도 어제부터 무상 점검을 시작했습니다.

[현대·기아 전기차 이용자/음성변조 : "사고가 난 건 사실이기 때문에 좀 좋은 정책이 나와서 서로가 안전하게 이용할 수 있는 그런 방향이 좀 제시가 되면 좋겠다고 생각했습니다."]

벤츠 전기차 차주들을 중심으로 리콜 요구 목소리까지 나오고 있는 상황.

하지만 배터리 정보를 자발적으로 공개하라고 권고하는 것 외에 뚜렷한 대책은 없습니다.

[이호근/대덕대 자동차공학과 교수 : "중국산 배터리에 대한 위험성이 상당히 높다는 인식이 팽배한 상황에서 국토부 권고 사항은 해외 업체들이 반드시 따르지 않아도 되는,바카라 작업강제성이 없기 때문에…."]

이런 가운데 국내 전기차 판매 선두인 테슬라는 여전히 배터리 정보를 공개하지 않았습니다.
