LG전자의 '공감지능(AI)' TV 올레드 에보가 필리핀 마닐라 소재 국립미술관에서 '디지털 캔버스'로 활용됐다.

LG전자는 최근 필리핀 국립미술관과 협업해 미술관 내 전시관 곳곳에 2024년형 올레드 에보,라이프스타일 올레드 TV '포제(Pos?)' 등 올레드 TV 10여 대를 설치했다고 18일 밝혔다.

이번 행사는 필리핀의 국민 화가라 불리는 후안 루나(Juan Luna)의 대표작 '스폴리아리움(SPOLIARIUM)'의 탄생 140주년을 기념해 열렸다.국가 문화재로 지정된 초대형 그림(가로 7m,세로 4m)은 필리핀 예술을 대표하는 작품 가운데 하나로 손꼽힌다.

올해 LG 올레드 에보는 올레드 전용 AI 화질·음질 엔진 '알파11 AI 프로세서'를 탑재했다.최대 4배 향상된 AI 딥러닝 성능을 기반으로 제작자가 의도한 분위기와 감정까지 고려해 색을 보정한다.

제레미 반스 필리핀 국립박물관장은 "젊은 세대와 예술간 접점을 넓히기 위해서는 문화 기관의 현대화가 중요하다"며 "LG 올레드 TV는 방문객을 보다 예술과 가까워지도록 돕고 그들에게 풍부한 경험을 제공하는 데 큰 도움을 줄 것이다"고 말했다.
