(부산=연합뉴스) 박성제 김선호 기자 = 부산경찰청이 최근 동남권원자력의학원을 압수수색한 것으로 확인됐다.

부산경찰청 형사기동대는 지난달 말 부산 기장군 동남권원자력의학원 원자력병원에 수사관을 보내 압수수색했다.

경찰은 이 병원 구매팀 직원이 거래업체로부터 2억원이 넘는 외제 차를 받은 혐의를 포착해 강제수사에 나선 것으로 알려졌다.

수사관들은 병원 구매팀 등을 압수수색하며 관련 자료를 확보하고 뇌물수수 혐의를 받는 직원의 휴대전화와 해당 차량 등을 압수한 것으로 전해졌다.

경찰은 병원 관계자들을 상대로도 조사를 벌이는 한편 구매팀 직원의 신병 처리를 검토하고 있다.

뇌물수수 의혹을 받는 직원은 뇌물이 아닌 자신이 직접 리스한 차량이라고 혐의를 부인하는 것으로 알려졌다.

부산경찰청 관계자는 "압수수색을 한 것은 맞지만 수사 중인 사안이라 구체적인 내용을 말해줄 수 없다"고 말했다.
