(안동=연합뉴스) 이승형 기자 = 박채아 경북도의원은 11일 제347회 도의회 정례회에서 학생의 사이버 도박 급증에 대한 대책 마련을 촉구했다.

박 의원에 따르면 최근 3년간 도내 12개 시군에서 중학교 140명,오늘의푸로야구고등학교 96명 등 총 236명이 사이버 도박을 한 것으로 조사됐다.

사이버 도박 종류별로는 바카라 132명,오늘의푸로야구스포츠 토토 97명,오늘의푸로야구메가볼 11명,오늘의푸로야구기타 15명 등이다.

이들의 도박 금액 규모는 약 1억5천500만원에 이른다.

박 의원은 "학생 도박은 마약만큼이나 위험한 것이고 일부 타 시도의 경우 도박자금 충당을 위해 2차 범죄에 가담하는 등 사회적 악으로 존재하기에 반드시 근절해야 한다"며 "도박 근절 및 예방을 위해서는 초등학생까지 실태조사와 예방 정책을 확대해야 한다"고 교육청에 주문했다.
