리튬이온 배터리를 대량으로 묶은 ESS는 안정적 수자원 이용을 위해 저수지에 물을 모아 놓은 것처럼 전기를 보관했다가 필요할 때 쓸 수 있게 하는 장치입니다.

국가에너지국은 지난해 말 기준 리튬이온 배터리가 중국 가동 에너지 저장 용량의 97%를 차지하고 나머지를 신흥 기술이 채운다고 밝혔습니다.그러면서 지난달 말 현재 중국 20개 성과 도시가 에너지 저장 계획을 도입했다고 전했습니다.
