오세훈 서울시장 인터뷰

오세훈 서울시장이 내년 1월로 예정된 금융투자소득세 시행을 3년간 유예하자면서 종합적인 세제 개편 필요성을 제기했다.

다음달 1일 취임 2주년을 앞두고 매일경제와 만난 오 시장은 "서민이 희망을 가질 수 있는 방향으로 세제가 마련돼야 한다"며 "금투세는 2~3년 (시행을) 유예하고 개인종합자산관리계좌(ISA) 납입 한도를 높이자"고 주장했다.서민이 재테크를 통해 노후를 준비할 수 있도록 제도적으로 뒷받침해줘야 한다는 의미다.현재 대통령실과 여당이 추진하는 종합부동산세와 상속세 개편,도박죄금투세 폐지에 힘을 실어준 발언으로 해석된다.

최근 폐지 주장이 나오는 종부세에 대해선 "길게 보면 (종부세를) 재산세와 통폐합하는 것이 바람직하다"는 의견을 내놨다.
