2일 대만 해순서(해경)는 보도자료를 통해 자국 어선 다진만88호가 이날 저녁 8시14분(현지시각)께 진먼다오 동쪽 해상에서 조업하는 과정에서 중국 해경선 14057호,친구와 노는 것을 좋아하지만, 늘 맞고 들어와요14603호에 나포됐다고 밝혔다.

당시 다진만88호에는 대만 국적 선장과 다른 국적 선원 5명 총 6명이 타고 있었다.

대만 해순서는 또 “(대만 어선 나포 직후) 해순서 함정 10081호와 3505호를 파견해 어선 구출 시도를 했다”면서 중국 측 석방 거부로 다진만88호는 이미 중국 항구로 끌려갔다고 전했다.

해순서는 “현재 중국이 어업 휴업기인 점을 감안해 이번 사안을 대만의 중국 본토 담당 기구인 대륙위원회와 어업서(어업국)에 이관해 처리하도록 했다”면서 “이들 두 기관이 중국 측과 조율해 처리할 예정”이라고 했다.

이어 “중국 측은 정치적 조작을 멈추고 양안 관계를 해치지 말아야 한다”면서 “다진만88호와 선원을 즉각 석방해야 한다”고 촉구했다.

한편 지난 2월14일 진먼다오 부근에서 대만 해순서의 검문을 피하기 위해 도주하던 중국 어선이 전복돼 중국인 2명이 사망한 사건을 계기로 중국 해경은 2월18일 샤먼과 진먼다오 사이 수역을 상시 순찰하겠다고 선언한 바 있다.
