엔비디아 CEO 젠슨 황이 삼성전자의 메모리칩 납품이 어렵다는 주장에 대해 직접 나서 부인했습니다.

삼성전자 주가는 3% 넘게 급등하는 등 출렁였습니다.

대만에서 열린 IT전시회,고스톱 판'컴퓨텍스'의 주인공은 단연 '엔비디아'였습니다.

젠슨 황 CEO는 인공지능,고스톱 판AI가 물리 법칙의 세계로까지 확장될 것이라고 강조했습니다.

"우리는 AI가 물리 법칙을 배우고,물리적인 세계의 데이터를 이해하고 근거를 두는 단계에 진입하려고 합니다."

그러면서 기자간담회에선 삼성전자를 언급했습니다.

"삼성전자가 제공한 고대역폭 메모리,고스톱 판HBM의 반도체를 검사하고 있다"는 겁니다.

특히 삼성이 엔비디아의 품질 테스트를 통과하지 못했다는 소문에 대해서 "아니"라고 강하게 부인했습니다.

"테스트가 아직 끝나지 않았을 뿐","SK하이닉스와 삼성전자,마이크론 3사 모두 엔비디아에 메모리를 공급할 것"이라고 전했습니다.

이 발언이 알려진 뒤,고스톱 판주식 시장에서 삼성전자 주가는 한때 3% 넘게 급등했습니다.

지난달 삼성이 HBM 인증 테스트에 실패했다는 보도 이후 주가가 폭락했는데 이번엔 정반대 상황이 벌어진 겁니다.

HBM 특성상 시장에서 절대적 위치에 있는 엔비디아의 움직임에 거대 반도체 기업들이 일희일비하는 상황입니다.

"엔비디아가 가장 시장 경쟁력이 크지만,고스톱 판구글이나 마이크로소프트 등 소위 말하는 '반 엔비디아' 진영이죠.그 시장을 얼마나 빨리 또 진출하느냐 대응책을 세워야 될 부분들인 것 같습니다."

전문가들은 '젠슨 황'의 발언을 HBM을 납품하려는 업체들 사이에 경쟁을 유도하는 전략으로 보기도 합니다.
