현대차가 전기차‘캐스퍼 일렉트릭’의 사전계약을 9일 시작한다고 밝혔다.기본 트림(세부 모델)인 인스퍼레이션의 사전 계약을 시작한 것이고,추후 프리미엄과 크로스 트림도 선보일 예정이다.

캐스퍼 일렉트릭(인스퍼레이션 기준)의 판매 가격은 3150만원이다.현대차는 여기에 전기차 세제 혜택이 적용되면 2990만원,트리플스트리트정부 및 지자체 보조금이 더해지면 2000만원대 초중반까지 가격이 내려올 것으로 보고 있다.

캐스퍼 일렉트릭은 성능 면에서 기존 경형 전기차들과 차별화를 보인다.49kWh(킬로와트시)의 NCM 배터리를 탑재해,완충하면 315km를 갈 수 있다.서울에서 대구까지 한번에 갈 수 있는 수준이다.30분만에 배터리를 10%에서 80%까지 충전 가능하다.

또,차체를 늘리면서 소형차가 됐다.경차인 캐스퍼 대비 휠베이스를 180mm 늘려,2열 레그룸 공간이 넓어졌다.적재 공간도 기존 233L에서 대비 47L가 늘어났다.전·후면부에 현대차의 전기차 모델을 상징하는 픽셀 그래픽이 적용돼,트리플스트리트디자인 측면에서도 젊고 개성 있는 모습을 보여준다.

각종 사양도 기본 탑재됐다.실내·외 V2L 기능이 적용됐다.차량 내부는 물론,외부로 220V 전원을 자유롭게 공급할 수 있는 것이다.이를 이용해 야외 활동 시 전자기기 등을 충전할 수 있다.상위 트림에 적용되던 고속도로 주행 보조(HDA),내비게이션 기반 스마트 크루즈 컨트롤(NSCC) 등도 기본 탑재됐다.
