경기도 부천시는 전국에 빌라 900채를 보유한 체납자의 집을 수색해 재산세 7천만 원을 징수했다고 오늘(16일) 밝혔습니다.

이 체납자는 50대 여성 A 씨로 그가 보유한 빌라 900채 가운데 100여 채가 부천에 있는 것으로 파악됐습니다.

그는 2022년부터 올해까지 재산세 7천800만 원(379건)을 내지 않았습니다.

부천시 체납특별징수팀은 한 달 동안 A 씨의 인적 사항과 소득 등을 조사하고,헤라카지노경기도가 제공한 은닉재산 내역도 분석했습니다.

이어 경찰 협조를 받아 최근 A 씨 집을 3시간가량 수색하고 재산세 7천100만 원(208건)을 징수했습니다.

A 씨는 "명의대여 사기를 당했다"고 주장하며 수색을 거부했으나 결국 세금을 냈으며 나머지 700만 원은 추후 납부하기로 했습니다.

부천시는 경남에 사는 또 다른 체납자 3명의 집도 수색해 모두 1천800여만 원을 추가로 받아냈습니다.

부천시 체납특별징수팀 관계자는 "충분히 세금을 낼 능력이 있는데도 고의로 재산을 숨긴 뒤 체납하는 이들을 적극적으로 찾아 세금을 징수하겠다"고 말했습니다.
