일본 메신저 '라인' 운영사 라인야후는 18일 "한국 네이버와의 시스템 분리를 앞당기겠다"고 밝혔다.라인야후는 네이버와의 사업 위탁 관계 종료 계획도 조만간 발표할 예정이다.

이데자와 다케시 라인야후 최고경영자(CEO)는 이날 일본 도쿄에서 열린 라인야후 주주총회에서 "2026년도(2026년 4월~2027년 3월) 안에 (네이버와) 시스템 분리를 완료할 예정이었지만 앞당길 수 있도록 계획하겠다"며 이같이 말했다.

그는 이어 "서비스 사업 영역에서도 거의 모든 국내(일본)용 서비스 사업 영역에서 네이버와 위탁 관계를 종료하겠다"며 "네이버와의 사업 위탁 관계 종료 계획은 7월쯤 발표할 예정"이라고 밝혔다.

이데자와 CEO는 모기업인 네이버의 지분 조정과 관련해서는 이렇다 할 언급은 하지 않았지만 "(만약) 네이버와 자본 관계 변경 내용이 있거나 이러한 움직임이 있는 경우 즉시 발표하겠다"고 밝혔다.
