SNE리서치 집계…현대차그룹,EV9 등의 선전으로 4위 유지

(서울=연합뉴스) 김보경 기자 = 에너지 전문 시장조사업체 SNE리서치는 올해 1∼5월 중국을 제외한 전 세계에서 신규 등록된 전기차가 작년 동기 대비 9.0% 증가한 225만9천대로 집계됐다고 8일 밝혔다.

그룹별로 보면 테슬라가 주력 차종인 모델Y와 모델3의 부진으로 지난해 같은 기간보다 12.8% 감소한 40만6천대의 판매량을 기록했지만 1위에 올랐다.

2위를 차지한 폭스바겐그룹은 2.1% 증가한 27만4천대를 판매했다.3위는 2.7% 늘어난 22만5천대를 판 스텔란티스그룹이었다.

현대자동차그룹은 0.1% 감소한 21만6천대를 판매하며 4위를 유지했다.

주력 모델인 아이오닉5,EV6의 판매량은 부진했지만,코나 일렉트릭,로또 부평니로EV,EV9은 순조로운 판매 행진을 이어갔다고 SNE리서치가 전했다.

지역별 등록 대수는 유럽(119만대),북미(68만3천대),중국 제외 아시아(28만5천대) 등의 순이었다.

유럽은 다소 둔화한 4.5%의 성장률을 기록했지만,로또 부평여전히 중국 제외 시장에서 50% 넘는 시장 점유율을 나타냈다.

SNE리서치는 "가격 경쟁력을 앞세운 중국산 전기차에 각국 전기차산업 기반이 위협받고 있어 무역장벽이 더욱 높아지고 있다"며 "중국 전기차업체들은 관세 장벽을 우회하기 위해 현지 생산 시설을 구축하고,남미,호주 등으로 새로운 판로를 뚫고 있다"고 말했다.
