인디게임산업 인프라 조성·기술 교류 협력

협약식에는 김종부 원장과 최훈 협회장이 참석해 서명했다.

이번 협약은 경남 인디게임산업 발전과 기술 교류를 위한 상호 협력을 목적으로 체결했다.

협약서에는 ▲경남 인디게임 개발자 지원 프로그램 운영 ▲인디게임 산업 육성 및 관련 기술 개발 ▲경남 게임 관련 전시 및 홍보 지원 ▲게임 관련 교육 및 워크숍 개최 ▲네트워킹 및 기술 교류 활성화 등에 협력한다는 내용이 담겼다.

양 기관은 협약 체결을 계기로 경남 인디게임 개발자들이 창의적인 게임을 개발할 수 있는 환경을 조성하고,2002 월드컵 스페셜지속가능한 게임산업 생태계 구축에 기여할 계획이다.

김종부 원장은 "협약 체결로 경남 인디게임 산업이 더욱 활성화할 것으로 기대한다"면서 "도내 게임 개발자들이 보다 나은 환경에서 활동할 수 있도록 다양한 지원을 아끼지 않겠다"고 말했다.
