[디지털데일리 권하영기자] 얼마 전 대규모 인명피해를 부른 경기 화성 아리셀 인근 공장에서 또 불이 났다.

소방당국에 따르면 5일 오전 7시15분쯤 경기 화성시 전곡산업단지 내 한 잉크제조 공장에서 화재가 발생했다.

소방당국은 오전 7시23분쯤 인근 소방서의 장비와 인력을 동원하는 대응 1단계를 발령했으며,펌프차 등 31대와 특수대응단 등 인력 78명을 투입했다.이후 오전 8시30분쯤 초진을 완료했다고 알렸다.

당시 공장 작업자 3명이 긴급 대피했으며 추가 인명피해는 없는 것으로 확인됐다.경찰과 소방당국은 화재를 완전히 진압하는 대로 구체적인 사고 경위를 조사할 예정이다.화성시는 인근 주민들에게 외출을 자제해달라는 내용의 안전문자를 발송했다.

한편,미국 플로리다주해당 공장은 지난달 24일 리튬 배터리 폭발과 함께 큰 불이 나 근로자 23명이 사망한 일차전지 업체 아리셀 공장에서 직선거리로 약 500m 떨어진 곳으로,아세트산에틸·메틸에틸케톤 등 유해화학물질을 보관 중인 것으로 알려졌다.
