가상자산(암호화폐) 거래소 빗썸이 14일 반기보고서를 통해 2024년 2분기 및 상반기 실적을 공시했다.

2024년 상반기 빗썸은 매출 2429억원,카지노 다시보기2회영업이익 943억원,당기순이익 1028억원을 기록했다.전년 동기와 비교해 매출 194%,카지노 다시보기2회영업이익 640%,당기순이익은 218% 성장했다.올해 초 비트코인 현물 상장지수펀드(ETF) 승인 등 효과로 가상자산 상승장이 도래한 영향이다.

단,카지노 다시보기2회1분기에 비해선 2분기 매출이 감소했다.이른바 '현물 ETF 효과'가 줄어들면서 2분기부터 주요 가상자산 가격이 하락했기 때문이다.

빗썸의 2분기 기준 매출은 1047억원,영업이익은 323억원이다.당기순이익 109억원을 기록했다.1분기 대비 매출은 24%,영업이익은 48% 감소했다.빗썸은 올해 1분기 매출 1382억원,영업이익 621억원을 기록한 바 있다.

이와 관련해 빗썸 측은 "1분기 대비 시장 상황이 악화되며 전체적인 거래 금액이 감소한 가운데,적극적인 마케팅 활동과 편의성 개선으로 흑자를 유지했다"고 밝혔다.
