11일 법조계에 따르면,인천지법 형사 5단독(판사 홍준서)는 전날(10일) 사기 혐의로 구속기소된 32세 남성 A씨에게 징역 2년 6개월을 선고했다.

A씨는 지난 2022년 5~10월 자신의 승마수업을 받던 20대 여제자 B씨 부모에게 말 구입비 명목으로 16회에 걸쳐 총 2억 6700여만원을 가로챈 혐의로 구속기소됐다.

그는 B씨 부모에게 "항저우 아시안게임에 나가려면 시합용 말이 필요하다"며 말 구매를 위한 자금이라고 속였으나 실제로는 투자금으로 돌리려던 것으로 조사됐다.A씨는 2021년 또다른 피해자에게 투자금 명목으로 1억 1900여만원을 가로챈 혐의도 받는다.

앞서 A씨는 지난 2021년 성폭력처벌법상 협박 혐의 등으로 징역 2년,빙고판 다운로드집행유예 3년을 선고받은 바 있다.전 연인 C씨에게 과거 촬영한 나체사진,영상 등을 유포하겠다며 협박한 혐의다.C씨에게도 1억 4000여만원을 빌려 가로챈 혐의도 받았다.
