대기업 주변 오피스텔 수백채를 보유하고 전세사기를 벌인 혐의로 기소된 임대인 부부 등이 1심에서 징역 12년과 징역 6년을 선고받았다.

수원지법 형사12단독(부장판사 하상제)은 24일 사기 혐의로 기소된 A씨와 남편 B씨에게 이 같이 판결했다.

A씨 부부는 2020년부터 2023년 초까지 무자본 갭투자 방식으로 화성 동탄 등지의 오피스텔 268채를 사들이면서 140명으로부터 약 170억원의 보증금을 편취한 혐의를 받는다.

A씨 부부는 재판에서 임대차 계약 당시 임차인들에게 보증금 반환 의사가 있었고 고의로 편취할 의사가 없었다고 주장했으나 법원은 이들에게 미필적 고의가 인정된다고 판단,마두역 로또이를 기각했다.

아울러 A씨 부부의 범행에 가담한 공인중개사 C씨 부부에게는 각각 징역 12년과 징역 7년이 선고됐다.

한편 A씨 부부와 같은 수법으로 29명으로부터 총 44억원 상당의 보증금을 받아 챙긴 혐의로 재판에 넘겨진 D씨 부부에게도 징역 4년과 징역 2년이 선고됐다.
