(서울=연합뉴스) 조성미 기자 = 과학기술정보통신부는 국산 인공지능(AI) 반도체를 사용하는 지능형 홈 모델을 내년 안으로 실제 가정 환경에서 실증한다고 26일 밝혔다.

정부가 실증을 추진하는 온디바이스 AI 지능형 홈 모델은 집에서 생성되는 데이터가 외부 클라우드로 전송되지 않아 개인 정보보호에 강한 것이 장점이다.

반면,구글,아마존 등 빅테크 기업은 자사 클라우드를 쓴 지능형 홈 서비스를 제공하고 있어 각 가정에서 생성된 개인정보가 기업 클라우드로 전송되며 개인정보 유출 문제가 생길 수 있다.

실증사업 수행 주체로 선정된 효돌 컨소시엄은 클라우드가 아닌 온디바이스 환경에서 지능형 홈 서비스를 제공,이러한 위험을 줄였다는 설명이다.

효돌 컨소시엄은 돌봄 인형 서비스 업체 효돌,셋톱박스,aabenraa bk 대 미트윌란 경기AI 스피커,월패드와 같은 지능형 홈 기기에 AI 반도체를 공급하는 딥엑스,aabenraa bk 대 미트윌란 경기지능형 홈 기기 제조업체 와츠매터,행복커넥트,SK텔레콤,주택관리공단 및 복지기관으로 구성됐다.

컨소시엄이 개발할 지능형 홈은 돌봄 인형을 통해 거주자의 표정 등을 파악하고 먼저 대화를 시도하거나 복약 제안,음식 추천 등 대화 방식의 건강 관리 서비스를 제공한다.또,응급상황을 인지하면 자동으로 보호자나 119에 전화를 거는 '안전콜' 기능 등 1인 가구에 특화된 서비스를 구축할 계획이다.

조도,거주자 얼굴 표정·움직임 등 집 안 상황을 인식하는 AI 비전 모델과 지역 방언,거주자별 발음 특성 등을 반영한 소규모 언어모델(sLM)도 개발한다.

아울러,지능형 홈 모델에 제조사와 무관하게 다양한 기기를 자유롭게 연결할 수 있는 국제 연동표준 '매터'를 적용하기로 했다.
