25일(현지시각) AP통신과 CNN비즈니스에 따르면 이날 미국 도로교통안전국(NHTSA)은 사이버트럭 전면 유리창 와이퍼와 짐칸 부품에 문제가 있어 테슬라가 리콜을 실시한다고 발표했다.

전면 유리 와이퍼의 경우 모터 컨트롤러가 너무 많은 전류를 공급받아 작동을 멈출 수 있다고 한다.짐칸에서는 일부 검은색 플라스틱 부품이 느슨해져 다른 운전자에게 날아가는 위험을 초래할 수 있다고 NHTSA는 설명했다.

리콜 대상은 각 문제를 가진 사이버트럭 1만1000대로,프리미어리그 탈퇴총 2만2000대다.

테슬라는 와이퍼 모터를 무료로 교체하고,프리미어리그 탈퇴짐칸 부품에 대해서도 교체 또는 재작업을 진행할 예정이다.

테슬라의 이번 사이버트럭 리콜은 지난해 11월30일 판매 개시 이후 각 3,프리미어리그 탈퇴4번째다.

앞서 테슬라는 사이버트럭에 대해 두 차례의 리콜을 실시한 바 있다.

올해 1월에는 경고등 계기판의 글자가 너무 작아 쉽게 읽을 수 없다는 이유로 사이버트럭 등 테슬라 차량 220만대에 대해 소프트웨어 리콜을 실시했다.또 올해 4월에는 사이버트럭의 가속 페달 문제로 약 4000대를 리콜했다．
