경찰이 지난 18일 '집단휴진'에 참여한 대학병원 등 의사 총 5명을 의료법 위반 혐의로 수사 중이다.

우종수 경찰청 국가수사본부장은 24일 기자간담회에서 의사 집단휴진 관련 수사 상황에 대해 "집단휴진과 관련해 의료법상 진료거부 혐의로 보건복지부에서 지난 18일 수사의뢰한 대학병원 의사 3명과 시민이 고발한 2명 등 총 5건에 대해 수사하고 있다"고 말했다.

그러면서 "향후 집단휴진 관련해 추가 고발이 접수되면 즉각 출석을 요구하고 엄정·신속하게 수사하겠다"고 덧붙였다.

복지부가 수사 의뢰한 의사가 소속된 대학병원은 서울대병원 본원과 분원(분당)이다.일반 시민이 고발한 2건 가운데 1건은 대학병원,도박마 에어포커다른 1건은 개원의로 파악됐다.

경찰은 이와함께 의료계 불법 리베이트와 관련해 현재까지 의사 82명 등 총 119명을 입건해 수사 중이다.

우 본부장은 "총 32건의 리베이트 사례를 수사 중"이라며 "입건 대상자는 119명이고 이 중 의사가 82명,나머지는 제약사 관계자"라고 밝혔다.

이어 "일부 수사를 마친 의사 4명과 제약사 관계자 5명 등 총 9명을 송치했고 13명은 불송치했다"며 "현재 남은 수사 대상자는 의사 77명을 비롯해 97명"이라고 덧붙였다.

경찰은 고려제약 리베이트 사건과 관련해 2000만 원 이상의 금품을 수수한 의사 14명과 제약사 관계자 8명 등 총 22명을 의료법 및 약사법 위반 혐의로 입건했다.

우 본부장은 "앞으로도 추가 입건자가 계속 나올 것으로 예상한다"며 "약사법상 허용되는 범위를 넘어선 금품수수 행위는 소액이라도 리베이트로 보고 입건할 예정"이라고 말했다.

아울러 경찰은 교육부가 지난 4월 말 다른 학생들에게 단체수업 거부를 강요한 혐의로 수사 의뢰한 한양대 의대생들을 수사한 결과,총 6명을 입건했다.

교육부는 지난달 말에도 집단행위 강요가 있었다는 제보가 들어온 충남대,도박마 에어포커건양대,국립경상대 등 3곳에 대해 수사 의뢰해 경찰이 수사 중이다.
