(서울=연합뉴스) 이정현 기자 = 방송통신심의위원회가 유명인의 영상을 활용해 불법 금융투자업 등을 해온 사이트에 대해 중점 모니터링을 했다고 19일 밝혔다.

이번 모니터링은 금융 앱 등을 통해 이용자들의 투자 유도를 목적으로 유명인의 방송 출연 영상 등을 활용한 사칭 광고로,선발 뜻관련 국민 피해가 확산하는 데 따른 것이다.

방심위는 "중점 모니터링을 통해 관련 정보들의 '자본시장과 금융투자업에 관한 법률' 등 법령 위반 여부를 검토해 적극적으로 조치할 예정"이라고 밝혔다.

특히 방송 출연 영상 무단 사용 등 초상권 침해로 피해를 본 유명인들의 경우,선발 뜻위원회에 직접 신고하면 침해받은 권리를 신속히 구제받을 수 있다고 강조했다.

또한 유명인을 사칭해 원금 보장·고수익으로 현혹하며 카카오톡·밴드 등의 오픈채팅방으로 유도하는 광고성 정보들에 대해 이용자들 역시 각별히 유의해 달라고 당부했다.
