이날 재판부는 이 전 부지사의 뇌물 및 정치자금법 위반,듀라렉스 컵외국환거래법 위반 혐의 가운데 일부는 무죄로 판단했습니다.

이 전 부지사는 2019년 쌍방울 그룹의 800만 달러 대북송금에 공모한 혐의를 받고 있습니다.

경기도가 북한 측에 지급하기로 약속한 스마트팜 사업비 500만 달러와 당시 도지사였던 더불어민주당 이재명 대표의 방북 비용 300만 달러를 김성태 전 쌍방울 회장이 북측 인사에게 대신 전달해 줬다는 게 대북송금 의혹의 핵심입니다.

검찰은 지난 4월 결심 공판에서 이 전 부지사가 김 전 회장과 공모해 거액의 달러를 중국으로 밀반출해 조선노동당에 지급하고,듀라렉스 컵김 전 회장 등으로부터 뇌물을 받은 혐의가 있다며 징역 15년을 구형한 바 있습니다.
