통신3사 2만원대 5G 요금제 여파

월 2만~3만원대 통신비를 내면서 편의점 20% 할인 혜택을 누릴 수 있는 알뜰폰 요금제가 등장했다.통신 3사 5G(5세대 이동통신) 최저 요금제 구간이 내려가자,월드컵 본선 진출 아시아알뜰폰 업계가 차별화에 속도를 내는 모양새다.

국내 알뜰폰 유지가입자 기준 1위 업체인 KT엠모바일은 27일 편의점 CU 결제금액의 20%를 할인해주는‘CU 전용 4G(4세대) 요금제’5종을 출시했다.2만~3만원대 기존 인기 요금제와 동일한 구성에 편의점 할인 혜택을 추가했다.월 할인 한도는 5000원이다.

이 요금제는 2만1400원(데이터 15GB)부터 시작한다.△2만5300원(데이터 15GB·음성통화 100분) △2만7500원(데이터 15GB·음성통화 300분) △3만8200원(100GB) 등이다.

편의점 할인 요금제는 조만간 다른 알뜰폰에서도 나올 예정이다.KT 그룹 차원에서 CU를 운영하는 BGF리테일과 협업해 KT 알뜰폰 사업자 서비스와 전용 요금제를 기획했기 때문이다.프리텔레콤,유니컴즈 등 다른 KT 알뜰폰 사업자도 해당 요금제를 내놓기로 했다.

알뜰폰 요금제는 최근 눈에 띄게 다양해지고 있다.은행 금리우대,월드컵 본선 진출 아시아보험상품 이용 혜택 등과 결합하는 식이다.이런 흐름은 통신 3사 요금제 구간이 낮아진 여파로 분석된다.KT가 지난 1월 월 3만원(5GB)짜리 5G 요금제를 내놓은 것을 시작으로 SK텔레콤이 월 2만7000원(6GB),LG유플러스는 월 2만6000원(6GB) 5G 요금제를 내놨다.

한국통신사업자연합회(KTOA)에 따르면 지난달 통신 3사에서 알뜰폰으로의 번호 이동 순증은 1만4551건으로 전월 대비 28.3% 감소했다.알뜰폰 번호이동 순증 규모가 2만 건을 밑돈 것은 2012년 말 이후 처음이다.
