(서울=뉴스1) 백승철 기자 = 해양수산과학기술진흥원(KIMST 원장 오운열)은 5일 서울 종로구 SK에코플랜트 본사에서 '블루 테크 오픈 이노베이션 프로그램' 협약을 체결했다고 밝혔다.

이날 행사에는 프로그램 공동 주관사로 KIMST와 SK에코플랜트를 비롯한 경상남도,경남창조경제혁신센터,고려대학교 세종캠퍼스 등 협약 참여 기관 관계자들이 참석했다.

블루 테크 오픈 이노베이션 프로그램은 해양·친환경소재 분야 혁신기술을 보유한 스타트업을 발굴하고 육성하기 위해 기획됐다.해당 분야의 기술 또는 아이디어를 보유하고 있지만 고도화·사업화에 어려움을 겪는 유망 스타트업의 기술개발 및 사업화에 도움이 될 것으로 기대된다.

아본 프로그램에서 KIMST은 사업화 자금 및 PoC 자금을 지원한다.SK에코플랜트는 스타트업 발굴,사업화 목표 기술 검증,후속투자에 참여하고,경상남도,경남창조경제혁신센터는 정부자금 및 정책 지원,토토 클로버 추천인후속 투자 연계 등에 힘을 보탤 계획이며,고려대학교 세종캠퍼스는 기술개발 컨설팅 및 대학 보유기술 연계 등을 지원한다.

모집 대상 과제로는 '해상풍력 설비 제작 공정 생산성 향상을 위한 AI·DT(인공지능·디지털화) 기술',토토 클로버 추천인'해양구조물 생산용 친환경 철근 대체재','수산부산물 활용 친환경 소재 및 수처리제 생산기술'’분야이다.KIMST와 SK에코플랜트는 프로그램 참여 기관들과의 협력을 통해 빠르게 참여 대상 스타트업을 선정하고 기술개발 및 사업화 지원에 박차를 가한다는 방침이다.

오운열 KIMST 원장은 "공공기관과 대기업의 협업을 통해 해양수산 스타트업의 사업화와 지속가능한 해양수산 창업생태계를 조성할 수 있도록 적극적인 지원을 하겠다"고 말했다.
