러시아는 세르게이 쇼이구 전 러시아 국방부 장관과 발레리 게라시모프 러시아군 총참모장에 대한 국제형사재판소,베로니카 로드리게스ICC의 체포 영장 발부는 황당한 일이라고 비판했습니다.

드미트리 페스코프 크렘린궁 대변인은 러시아는 ICC의 관할권을 인정하지 않고,베로니카 로드리게스관련 조약의 당사국도 아니라며 이같이 말했습니다.

앞서 ICC는 현지 시간 25일 쇼이구 전 장관과 게라시모프 총참모장에게 러시아군이 우크라이나에서 저지른 전쟁범죄를 지시한 혐의가 있다며 체포영장을 발부했습니다.

ICC는 지난해 3월 푸틴 대통령과 마리아 르보바 벨로바 아동인권 담당위원에 대해서도 체포영장을 발부했습니다.

ICC 체포영장이 발부되면 당사국은 ICC 규정과 자국 법 절차에 따라 이를 집행할 의무가 있습니다.

ICC 협약 당사국은 우리나라를 포함해 124개국이며,베로니카 로드리게스러시아는 지난 2016년 ICC를 탈퇴했습니다.
